Our schools
Kincorth
Academy
There are 73 secondary schools in Gomel. My school is called Gymnasia 71. There are about 700 students in it aged from 6 to 17. My school has got two buildings – one is for junior students, the other – for the senior ones. It stands in a large yard with a lot of flower-beds. Kids learn to take care of them. The students of my school learn 14 subjects including intensive English classes and Maths. We take part in different contests for English learners. Two regional contests are held at our school. One of them is “The Art of Speaking” in four foreign languages taught in Gomel region. The other one is “Welcome to the English-Speaking World!” which is a team contest dealing with one particular English-speaking country each year.
Kincorth Academy is a fully comprehensive,
non-denominational, secondary school located to the
south of Aberdeen serving the Kincorth, Altens and Cove
areas. Our five associated primary schools are Abbotswell,
Charleston, Craighill, Loriston and Kirkhill.
